I Quit My Day Job

Hey tribe!

Five years ago, I told my wife (jokingly) that I wanted to be a full-time blogger by the time I turned 40. Well, earlier this year I realized that my 40th birthday is coming up in January, and that it will coincide with the 10th anniversary of my blog (which I launched in 2012).

So I decided to quit my day job. 

Don’t get me wrong: I like my job in sales. But I’m genuinely passionate about creating content and supplements that help people improve their health and well-being. 

Being able to follow my dreams and earn a living by doing what I love is a blessing, and I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity.

None of this would have been possible without your help! You’re the ones reading my articles, watching my videos, liking my posts on social media and buying my supplements. So I wanted to say thank you for the incredible support, and for giving me and my family a life that most people only dream about!

But let this also be a reminder that pursuing and ultimately building a future around your passions doesn’t have to be a pipedream. Yes, it requires dedication and persistence. After all, it took me a decade of hard work and commitment to reach this point. 

But it can be done. And I promise you, it’s totally worth it!

What’s next? 

So what this means is that next year, I’ll have more time to dedicate to the blog and MK Supplements. 

I’ll be transitioning out of my day job over the course of a few months to allow for a smooth handover to my successor. My plan is to spend more time writing and producing YouTube videos while expanding the supplements business. My goal is to add additional supplements that compliment my beef liver capsules, and to make it easier for European customers to purchase my products.

Also, my brother-in-law, who has been editing all of my YouTube videos, is likely going to move in with us (he lives in Costa Rica now) to be more efficient at making and editing videos.

Of course, I’m also planning to spend some extra time with my family and our animals — especially Rib Eye, our German Shepherd puppy who is growing by leaps and bounds.
